ELECTRO COAGULATION EQUIPMENT

Code: EC Giá: 0 vnđ

Electrolytic coagulation or the process of breaking down the stable structure of solutes, colloids or suspended substances through the introduction of an electric current into the aqueous medium. This is a unique new technology, which has been successfully applied in many developed and developing countries. Outstanding advantages of flocculation electrolyte technology applied in wastewater treatment system:

  • No need to add chemicals (lime or alum, pac)
  • Low running costs
  • Less requirements on area and construction items
  • Generates very little solid waste/mud
  • Removes coloration up to 95%, BOD & COD up to 75%
  • Simple and easy operation and maintenance

Coagulation electrolysis will produce several distinct electrochemical results independently. The observed reactions can be explained as follows:

  • Seeding: results from the anodic reduction of metal ions, which become new centers for larger, stable, insoluble and precipitated compounds such as metal oxides complex.
  • Emulsion breaking: results from oxygen and hydrogen ions binding to the water receptors of oil molecules creating a water-insoluble complex.
  • Bleaching: by oxygen ions generated in the reaction tank, which has the function of oxidizing dyes, cyanides, bacteria, viruses and other harmful chemicals.
  • Electron Flooding: of water that removes the electrolytic action of the water complex, allowing colloidal components to precipitate and an increase in electrons to create an osmotic pressure to kill bacteria and viruses.
  • Oxidation reduction
  • Coagulationelectrolyte assists in bringing the pH level to neutral
